Dear wonderful readers of Dreaming With Open Eyes,
It's time to take a break. I've been very busy the last couple of weeks. Things changed in my personal life, especially my working situation. As part of my media designer apprenticeship I'm doing internship at an ad agency. It's been a wonderful experience so far and I'm very happy it's not over yet. Even though my body is in desperate need of a holiday. A weekend to relax is just not enough anymore. I've been looking forward to my summer holiday for months. I'm so happy that I could win my best friend to go on holiday in Ireland this year with me. Especially because I am very familiar with Ireland I planned our whole trip. We will visit the following places in our 8 days stay: Dublin, Galway (and the Conemara area), Limerick, Killarney (and the Ring of Kerry area), Dingle and probably a little bit more. So you lovely lot can imagine our schedule is pretty packed but I can't wait to finally hop on the plane to see all those wonderful places. What is the first thing which I'll back in my suitcase? My kindle! I'm not sure I'll have much time to read but just in case I'm gettin bored :P
For all those reasons it means there will be no reviews or other blog posts during this time. I'll hopefully catch a WiFi from time to time so I at least can be in touch on Twitter or Instagram with you. I already promised a lot of tweeps I'll prepare a report of my holiday and post it here on my blog when I'm back from my holiday. Keep your eyes open for that! I wish you all a wonderful time.
Have you been on holiday this year? I'd love to hear from you.
(goodbye in irish)

Meet Ruby’s fiancé,
Finn. He’s gorgeous, thoughtful, successful and adoring – pretty much
everything anyone could ever want in a man. In fact, he’s perfect. The
catch? He’s just not perfect for her. But when Ruby finally plucks up
the courage to come clean, Finn’s so furious that he misses his footing
as he runs down the stairs – and suddenly, it’s not just his heart
that’s broken!
When Finn wakes up, he can’t remember a thing. Not
that Ruby dumped him – not even that they were ever engaged! It’s on
the tip of Ruby’s tongue to come clean, but somehow, it never seems to
be the right time... And as the weeks pass, she sees a new side to Finn.
Arrogant and a shameless flirt, he’s irresistibly bad, and the
chemistry between them is explosive!
It’s not that Ruby’s lying…
she’s just withholding the truth. And seeing as things are going so
well, perhaps there’s no need for Finn to have his memory jogged… The
trouble is, there’s every chance that Finn might remember for himself!
The cover design feature continues... It's actually been a while since I posted my first cover design. If you are interested to see the first book cover I designed: click
here.
I'm very excited to share this new cover with you today! I'm very pleased with the result. Some of you might recognize the book title of Jenny Colgans books. My design has nothing to do with her book, I just thought this title fits pefectly for this cover. I
hope you are going to like it. Any comments, questions or advices are
very welcome.
Here is a reminder for you: The cover design feature is not something I'll share with you weekly. It's a
hobby which is very time consuming. I design them when I have time to
work on new concepts for covers.

Today I'm welcoming Kristen Morgen on my blog. She published her debut novel Behind the Glass in June 2014. I had the pleasure to read it shortly after the pub date. You want to know how much I loved Behind the Glass? Then read my 4.5 star review
here.
Rebecca Jordan’s life is simple, disciplined, and uncomplicated, at least on the surface. Then she meets a handsome stranger/secret admirer named Michael Vale one fateful late night at a bookstore café. As a focused but struggling photographer with a passion for art, her outwardly happy world is turned upside down during this life-changing encounter when she quickly realizes she has met her soul mate. The undeniable attraction between them and their intense, immediate connection seem picture perfect as they discuss the shop’s local artwork, until Rebecca abruptly ends the chance meeting with no explanation.
Betraying Brett, her loyal, loving boyfriend, is something Rebecca can never bring herself to do. Driven by a strong moral code and molded by divorced parents and a tumultuous childhood, she struggles to stay away from Michael, but fate and circumstance intervene, bringing them back together time and time again. As much as she resists, there is no denying her true feelings for him and the simple fact that Michael understands her in a way Brett never has. Michael proves to be everything she’s ever wanted, but remains just out of her reach.
Behind the Glass tells the story of Michael and Rebecca’s extraordinary love and the many unconventional stages their relationship must go through. Their morals and their faith in true love and in each other will be put to the test as they learn that meeting one’s soul mate does not come without obstacles.

electrifying night together…and the memories have Élise really
struggling to stick to her one-night-only rule! Her head knows that
eventually Sean will be leaving, so all she can do is try to ignore her
heart before she spontaneously combusts with lust.
Being back in
Vermont—even temporarily—is surgeon Sean O'Neil's worst nightmare. For
Sean, returning home to the Snow Crystal Resort means being forced to
confront the reasons and the guilt he feels about rejecting his family's
rural lifestyle years ago. But discovering that Élise has settled in
Vermont and still sets his blood racing is a very welcome distraction!
Thinking he can persuade her into a replay of last summer is tempting,
