Ellie Overton is a 28-year-old rest home receptionist with a pussycat nose who also happens to be gaga for the pop singer Tom Jones. Regrettably single, she is desperate to have a white-hot love relationship, like those she's read about in romance novels. Following an astrological hunch, she attends a Tom Jones Festival and meets an available young impersonator with more looks and personality than talent. Though he's knocked out of the contest, he's still in the running to become Ellie's blue-eyed soul mate--until he's accused of killing off the competition. It's not unusual that the handsome police detective working the case is spending more time pursuing Ellie than collaring suspects. So, she enlists some wily and witty rest home residents to help find the real murderer. Will Ellie crack the case? Must she forfeit her best chance for lasting love to solve the crime?

Her past is wrought with demons.
His past is full of heartbreak.
Yet he's the one person that can remind her what it means to live.
Abbi Jenkins never thought she would leave the walls of the mental institution that's housed her for the last year. Now she has, but that doesn't mean she's forgotten everything Pearce put her through.
She knows there's only one way to deal with the depression that claws at her mind each day, and ballet becomes more than a hobby, a dream. Ballet - and Julliard - becomes a reason to live. Something to hold on for.
Blake Smith left London for one reason and one reason only. Running from the heartbreak of his past was never something he wanted to do, but with constant reminders everywhere he turned, it became his only option. When he arrives in New York City, he vows he'll keep the promise he made to his sister and get into Juilliard.
But he doesn't expect to be paired with Abbi in class, the girl whose eyes show a world of pain he's seen before. Pain he knows too well. As each hour they spend together pulls them closer, Blake can't fight his need to save her from herself.
Lines blur as their pasts are wrenched into the open, and they have to ask themselves whether they're too broken to ever to be fixed, or if they're the healing the other needs.
I'm very happy to welcome Rachel Hamm, author of Twenty-Five, on
Dreaming With Open Eyes today. She was so kind and anwered a bunch of my questions. Thank you very much for taking your time. It's a pleasure to have you on my blog.
About the Author
Rachel was born in Buffalo, NY but grew up in Burlington, NC. Raised by northern parents in the south, she likes to say she got the best of both worlds. Her writing is inspired by classic authors like Jane Austen and Charles Dickens, as well as contemporary ones like JK Rowling and Claire LaZebnik. She loves to read and has been known to spend an entire weekend engrossed in the adventures of her favorite characters.
Hello Rachel! Welcome to my blog, can you tell us a bit about yourself?
Thanks for having me! I'm a hopeless romantic, lover of Disney and Harry Potter, bookworm, and all-around awesome person. I've read Pride & Prejudice about a million times (or 15, somewhere between the two) and Leslie Knope is my spirit animal. I'm addicted to Sunkist and great pens.
Can you tell us something about your books?
I write clean romance, which means the hanky panky is implied, but not spelled out. I like to leave some things to the imagination! I also really like good guys, so my heroes are men I'd actually date in real life - in fact, if you know any guys like Ben or Sedric, can you let me know?

When stressed out New York executive Rosie Hamilton inherits her Aunt
Bernice’s run-down cottage, it couldn’t have come at a better time. With
her love life, if she could call it that, exploded in her face and
suspension from her job swinging through the corporate jungle, she
reckons a couple weeks in Devon could be just the escape she needs from
the glamorous, yet trauma-strewn landscape of her life in Manhattan.
But life hidden away in the thatched lodge is dull and how can she
contemplate tackling the jungle of a garden in her Louboutins and Armani
skirt suit?
Rosie, uncomfortable with the invasion of privacy masquerading as
community spirit, yearns to return to her old life of social
indifference, until she stumbles upon her aunt’s old, hand-illustrated
recipe book .With no other activity to occupy her time, she bakes,
bakes, bakes as if her life depends on it. With no form of transport
either, Rosie takes to the road on Bernice’s ancient bicycle, warm
Devonshire scones in the wicket basket up front.
She even has time to date! Austin, her aunt’s handsome, sharp-suited
solicitor is straight from her New York wish list of boyfriend
material; and Charlie, the local luxury Spa Hotel’s general maintenance
guy, definitely not her type, irritatingly chirpy and lacking in life’s
ambition.
With recipes from Aunt Bernice’s own baking book for you to try at
home; Corporate Manhattan or rural Devon? Austin or Charlie? ‘Stiletto
Heels or Bicycles Wheels?’ Which would you choose?

Thirteen Weddings by Paige Toon (May 2014)
Last year, Bronte left Sydney for a wedding in England, where she met newly single Alex. After a night of passion they parted ways, and Bronte returned to Australia. Now working on a picture desk for a magazine in London, Bronte is about to meet her new colleague, who turns out to be all too familiar. Although awkward at first, as Alex is now engaged to the girl he was on a break from when they met, they soon become friends. But as the two get closer, and the wedding day looms, it is clear that Alex and Bronte have unfinished business… A charming bittersweet novel from the author of The Longest Holiday.
I am so excited for Paige Toons new novel! For many I've ben a huge fan of her books and they never dissapoint. I'm sure this one is not going to dissapoint either.

Welcome to my blog Julie Shackman. Tell us a little about yourself and your background?
Thank you Isabell for interviewing me for your great website! Well, I trained as a journalist but I've always wanted to write for the romance genre. When I'm not reading books or drafting one (!) I write verses and captions for greetings card companies. I'm married with two sons and live in Scotland.
You recently released your first novel “Rock my World”. How was your publishing journey?
Like many writers, a pretty long one! It has involved lots of reading; lots of writing; querying and submitting to literary agents and publishers. I received a lot of great feedback about my work, but just had to persevere. I think writers have to be a pretty determined bunch!

A warm welcome to Elizabeth Player, author of
The Girl Who's Never Had A Valentine. You can find my review of this here:
Hi Elizabeth, thank you for agreeing to this interview. Tell us a little about yourself and your background?
I moved to Cornwall 7 years ago with my husband. I'd spent most of my working life teaching with the Further Education sector. As a big lover of dogs I decided to train as a Dog Groomer and that's what I do now, on a part time basis. When I'm not dog grooming I'm writing.
What inspired you to write your first book?
I'd lived in a few exotic places around the world and my first book centred around Bermuda. This book has yet to be published. Initially I called it Bella and the Bermudian, but in a later re-draft I decided to call it Frog Chorus.
