I kindly received Trouble in Tinseltown in exchange of an honest review by the publisher via Netgalley.

Part 1 of Summer Flings – a fun, flirty and laugh out loud rom com series of short stories.

After reading the blurb for Trouble in Tinseltown I was intrigued and really looking forward to getting stuck in. It sounded like it was going to be full of fun and girly drama and it certainly delivered.

Gem, Elle and Ciara finished their studies and set off on a world tour. Seven destinations are waiting for them: LA, Miami, Paris, Greece, Ibiza, Florence last but not lease Dublin. The first stop is LA. Can there be a better spot to start your adventure which will proably change your life?

Ciara is different to her friends Elle and Gem. She'd known Gem and Elle came from very rich families. They are used to a yet set life style, designer clothes, only the best of the best. That's one of the only things that frustrated Ciara about her friends. They hadn't had a clue how much money was worth - and how hard it was for the normal people in the world to get it. Opposites attract. That's why the three of them get along so very well. On the other hand Ciara is very down to earth and right minded. That's what I really liked about her. Ciara's character basically made up the sort of person that I would generally get along pretty well with in real life. She sounds like a great friend.

Arriving in LA, the girls meet Zack Muir, Elle's hotter, older cousin. Now the idea of a holiday fling might not be too bad after all? :-)

This was the first time I read something by Aimee Duffy. It won't be the last! It entertains you from the first to the last page. The story offers a light read and makes you smile, it has a well-written story with a memorable and relatable characters.

A perfect summer series to read on a sunny day or to be honest, any day of the year! I read it in one sitting, so go read it, if you have not already! Highly recommended!  A must read.
